Apart from business he dedicated his life to uplift the lives of the weaving community of Yemmiganur, Kurnool Dist where he was born in 1904. He founded the Yemmiganur Weavers Coop Society in 1938 and this became an ideal for many of the handloom Cooperative societies that came up across the country
